"Decided to try this place for the first time since it recently showed up on Ian Froeb 's top 100 list in St. Louis. I got the impression the restaurant was trying to 'punch above its weight class ', with mixed results. The meal my wife and I had was good but service was a bit spotty and incongruous with the menu prices. I 'm pretty sure my review won 't matter to the people who are regulars at this spot, as it seems to be a crowd favorite. For me, if I want a steak in the future, there are probably better options."
