"The Oberstdorfer Einkehr was always our favourite restaurant in Oberstdorf with its authentic Schwaben menu. It was always a special treat to go there. We booked a table tonight a Friday and were amazed we could get a table! As it is always booked up....Sadly the ownership has changed and the restaurant is not up to the same standard. It is just average now where before it was always excellent. The attention to detail has gone. We loved the traditional touches and high standard of service. The food is no better or worse than any average restaurant in Oberstdorf."

third night in oberstdorf and reviews on ta led us to choose this restaurant. it turned out that we were pampered for the election in oberstdorf. three different restaurants and all were great. this of warm welcome, Bavarian menu and great beer and wee of the...glass atmosphere was warm and talk dizzy, but not loud. we loved it. service was excellent as the food was. I had a Rump-Steak who was superb (boiled rarely) and my wife had the Zander-Füll (bored) another place to recommend in oberstdorf.

"Alpe Dornach has many parking spaces, but by far not enough for the visitor tower. Accordingly, there is a regular struggle for the rare parking spaces. So, just before me, a Porsche Cayenne big city driver in Stuntmen-Manier practiced in front of me in the parking lot where I actually wanted to go in. So there were only a small piece of sailors to the parking lot. Also there I had to help you park one next to me from the mud together with two other visitors and the hysterical woman of the driver, as the wheels of the blue VW bus ran hopelessly. Thanks for not giving. After the sport, the guest room went to the ordered table. This was the second same with the usually open automatic input sliding door. That was also so dirty that you said that a herd spit Lamas on it. The dirt was pretty old. As a result, it was very cold at our table and we were always happy. Sitting in the back of the guest room or the adjoining room was not possible due to the many guests. The guest room was clean and visually cozy. In Speedy Gonzales Manier, however, we ran constantly with their trays, as they were also served outside, as well as other guests. Cosiness did not come up with us, especially because it was extremely loud. You felt like being a canteen with speed-ding in a large room. The staff and the boss were exemplary friendly. The toilet was not cleaned or refilled during the opening time. She was so dirty and the paper on the sink was empty. For starters we had a clear table top with Thymian-Lebernockerl and Allgäuer Bergkässuppe. The cheese soup was wonderful and intense, like eating a delicious cheese weave. I tasted mountain cheese, semmental and a white painter. The Rieslingsemmerl was laid over the electrolytic soup bowl as in a kind of medium ship. But that was as small as a little peasant tasted good. The tabletop broth with liver stool was also self-made, tasty and had a use of fine cut vegetable cubes. To the main dish there were bakers from the milk calf, goulash, schnapps and a children's part cheese. The brunette was completely forgotten when the main dishes were delivered, as it turned out later, and only brought my demand to the table. The brunette was quite dry and the crust was separated from the meat. The crust then lay loose on the meat that was delicious. My goulash had very fine high quality meat in a beautiful natural sauce. The eggplant noodles had the right cooking point. The part was lush. Too bad you didn't notice anything from the smoke aromas announced on the map. The cheeses were initially supplied as an adult. As a children's part, the lobes did not draw any threads and delicious water. Yet a rich fat cap formed in the plate. Amazing how to get so much fat with so little cheese. The cheese puppets therefore went back and our complaint was friendly and understood. Our little ones even offered a free iceball. Great answer! My wife was only harassed by the cold and the turbulent environment and graduated from the broccoli that was too hard. She offered her softer, but she didn't want to. Also the Risotto was not so much for her taste. I tried that too. My tip: a bit more white wine and parmesan, less the ointment that was in it. My wife and daughter have a cold today. Since I don't like to eat in the ice-cream chamber and also rest at dinner, I have to take off two stars. Maybe we'll be back in a quieter time. P.S.: My wife and daughter got a wonderful cold after the visit!"

"our summer holiday this year was not under a good star. a day before our departure forced an unplanned stay in the hospital emergency accommodation with subsequent all inclusive stay in the attached establishment to a short-term redispository. the two nights fell to sacrifice as well as the first of three nights in oberstdorf, and so unfortunately also the related reservations in michelin stared houses. After all, we were glad to arrive on the trip, but spontaneously had to organize the first station in the Allgäu. A reservation in the second star restaurant in oberstdorf was unfortunately no longer possible in the short term, but in the romantic hotel the freiberg, which is responsible for a large number of restaurants in the place, there is also that with a bib gourmand excellent “The Fetzwerk”. interieur in original ambiente is realized here an unconventional concept for allgäuer relationships. Originally assembled bistro dishes are served in wake-glasses, each of which is either regional, Mediterranean or Asian. in each category there is also a vegetarian, meat or fish variant. The standards are supplemented by some daily recommendations. In addition to a small but solid selection of wines, the "Fetzwerk" is also dedicated to beer culture and offers a lot of suitable craft beers, preferably from the region. handcrafted beer we try through the map and through all categories and start from the heading “home” on one side with salmon trout and poulardenbrust. the fish itself is discreetly marinated and accompanied by warm beans all kinds that receive a fruity effect by apricot. On the other hand, the poularde is on the cozy side with carrots, sugar chodes and fine wheat. the finely cut vegetables are still nicely crunchy and both aligned that creams provide a connecting element. Lachsforelle, beans, apricot, forest stage patriotic poularde poulardenbrust, carrots, sugar chocolates, estrich, fine wheat from the Mediterranean division continues with garlands with Mediterranean vegetables and gnocchi as well as baked blue sky risottocro chains. However, the parfait is still so frozen that it takes some time until it can be eaten without accident and without organizing a wild massacre in the glass. tonkabehnen crème Brûlée herz knock exotic fruits, panna cotta was tobias eisele, also responsible for the star restaurant “Maximilians”, in glasses in the “Fetzwerk” has simply charm. the dishes are oriented to uncomplicated spoons and if you work from top to bottom, you can best capture the entire chord of each glass. that is all sufficient and harmoniously conceived. that there was one or the other, like the cheese crocket, is the too hard parfait or the slightly dry escape, which was not completely perfect, no break. For this, the refreshing concept makes too much fun, which also the attentive and simple service has its good part and remains inexpensive in the very acceptable framework. the glasses are calculated with a cut of 8 euros fair and appropriate. the colleague daueresser has made us curious with his criticism of the “Fetzwerk” and of course I have read the very different opinions about it here. I was already sympathetic about the description, and I am convinced that if you simply let yourself in, you can see very quickly that here, although in a somewhat unusual form, very good quality is offered and all this then also with fun factor! We at least liked it and who in allgäu is looking for an alternative to the swath and knödeln, find here a restaurant that can work in this way."
