"My husband and I love to support locally owned business and tried Pete’s for our most recent date night…based on the fact they had Utica greens and good reviews. Lovely atmosphere, dim lighting, spacious layout/booths, lounge separate from restaurant. Our waiter was fantastic, food took a bit longer than expected but we enjoyed the atmosphere and fresh bread so much it didn’t matter. He ordered a pizza and was pleased with and I had the most tender, mouth watering steak! Unfortunately the greens (the whole reason we chose this establishment) were not nearly as impressive. Soggy and tons of bread crumbs on top, that was disappointing, but again the rest of the food was great and we will defi...

Although the decor is a little dated, their food is amazing. We didn’t have a reservation and we’re still honored and seated on a relatively busy night. The goat cheese fritters are out of this world! The best we have had!

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of dinners at Canale’s Restaurant. Pete’s Tratoria captures that same spirit like no other place in town. The atmosphere, our server David, and the food were all just wonderful. So glad we chose this place for Mom’s 90th birthday celebration.

eating reminds me when I would visit little italy as a child, and during my 20s. the penne a la wodka with garnelen was one of the best I tasted. I ordered me to take and forget to get our desserts, so when I picked them up later in the evening, they were very friendly and helpful. tonight was my wife and my 12th year, and she is 8 months pregnant; this meal made it one of the best. thanks for the great service!

"I have dined here about a half dozen times. The food is great. The service is not. I was surprised to hear that anyone had good service here because I consistently have had slow, inattentive or down right rude service here. We go back because it's convenient and we work very close by, but our last experience we stood for more than 8 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, the server who finally came over was downright rude. We saw her drop things from someone's table and kick those things across the room. We finally got seated and waited another 15 minutes for someone to come to the table. Their patio had people out there but there was no one inside but it looked like they had only 2 servers working. Our sandwiches did not come with any pasta salad or anything on the side like they used to and our table was missing the two non-alcoholic beverages that were ordered until half way through the meal. My advice is to try Brelundi, perhaps you will have a different experience than we have had. If you like Italian food, the food is worth the wait. The bread is delicious, the pasta and sandwiches and salads are great. Just be aware that your service may be extremely slow, they will forget items and may be rude to you. Also, any time we have gone (at lunch time) I was berated and not seated for not having a reservation so I now make sure I call and make reservations before attempting to go there or we get take out."
