"First off let me say I love supporting black businesses and I come here often. The quality of service and food has gone down. It was very busy today a hr wait for seating so we opted to order to go instead. The woman that took our order was not friendly or welcoming at all. It was as if we were bothering her because she had to do a job. We kept being told different wait times for our to go order. After over a hour we finally get our food. The rice was hard with little gravy. The Mac is just that Mac. Barely any cheese at all. And lastly the collard greens very bland, a lot of stems and not cooked through. My husband tried the 2 piece chicken wings and catfish combo with baked mac and cheese and said it was the best fish he has ever tasted. Well seasoned as well as the chicken. Unfortunately, I am vegan however the customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Not to mention, the food smelled so delicious, so if they ever have vegan options, I will be the first one there. Also, the food is fresh and cooked to order!

WOW I AM VERY PLEASED WITH FIRST THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BROUGHT AS SOON AS I WALKED IN … I am from out of town and been craving southern food boy I can surly say they got my best interest??!! Their chicken is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had, I’m talking finger licking good, falling off the bone, just melts in ur mouth good! Their food is a must try if u come to Austin, it is amazing and I couldn’t be more pleased I will definitely be coming back!
