"We came to town for the LSU vs Alabama football game for work. After a couple of long nights at Fred’s, we wanted some food to assist our recovery before our drive back. I’d been drunkenly flirting with the VIP bartender throughout the weekend and decided to invite her to join us for lunch because, why the hell not? To my surprise, she accepted. At Walk-On’s we were greeted with a twenty-minute wait. To add insurance against the cumulative hangover killing us, we made our way over to the bar a … – show"

After waiting for 20 minutes at the table without being greeted or served water, we decided to leave and head to a restaurant that is actually in the business of hospitality. I would understand if we came in during busy hours, but we came in for an early dinner around 4 PM and the restaurant was 20% full. I wish there was better communication amongst the staff to know that we arrived.

I stopped here after my Yellow Ribbon ceremony. As a Walk-Ons lover, I would say that this location is probably my Top 2!! The staff was extremely attentive and made little to no mistakes when it came to my order. The food was 10/10 cooked to perfection. The servers deserved high praise for their swiftness, efficiency, accuracy. Although I live pretty far from this location, I would definitely travel back for the service I received!!

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
