"We went to Zoroona's for restaurant week and tried the chicken schwarma boudin balls as an appetizer, which we found to be delightful. They were light and came with a delicious sauce that made them a new favorite for us. The entrees were items not normally on the menu, and we were told they would depend on diner's reactions. I tried the lamb osso buco for the first time and while it was well-prepared, it's not something I would order again as I'm not a fan of lamb. My wife had the Chicken Marengo, which we both agreed should be a permanent fixture on the menu due to its pleasant blend of Mediterranean spices. For dessert, we had almond creme cake and chocolate mousse. The mousse was rich bu...

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
