"With Spring 22 there is a new Bloom in Chicagoland to talk about. A fresh contester for the Top Spot of veg*n restaurants in the area. While it lacks the view of Althea or the outdoors experience of Spirit Elephant, it does offer an interesting options for the plant-food lovers. We gave it a try 2 weekends in a row. Checked all the desserts and many of the Quick Bites and Big Boys offers. Love the mix of influences Mexico to Japan and all in between. A reverence to the Her Majesy the Fermentation still, it's not NOMA, but better than most. Talking of NOMA we liked the most the focus and uniquness of the sauces and their innovative use. I need some inside secret info... I would skip the Tama...

Came by myself for HH which was a great deal and way to try a few things dining solo (it’s more of a shared plate’s experience ideally)

I ate here solo as a walk-in and eating and drinking was not disappointed. I had the hot and loud — big fan of warm cocktails here! the shaved boobs and kale caesar was from this world! the sunflower risotto was so incredibly rich and tasteful. I was blown away.

We had a great experience at Bloom. Servers were all very friendly, and everything we had was great! Poutine, gnocchi, and choux au poivre. You should definitely go! Update: my wife got me the tasting menu dinner for my birthday. All 8 courses were great! It was a pricey treat, but worth it! Updated from previous review on 2022-03-13
