"As it was Mother's Day, I was aware of how hectic it could be, coming from a restaurant background myself. Despite having visited this restaurant several times before without any issues, our recent experience left much to be desired. Despite having made an early reservation, we were seated about 10 minutes after our scheduled time, which was understandable. Our waiter, whom we had encountered before and found to be very pleasant, took our orders promptly. However, it took nearly 30 minutes for our appetizer to arrive and another 30 minutes for our entrees, even though two larger parties that arrived after us received their food more promptly. We love this place. The room isn't particularly attractive, but the food is always exceptional and the service is very good.

The restaurant has a lovely decor, excellent service, and tasty food. The portion sizes were decent, and I particularly enjoyed the chicken and sausage risotto as well as the chicken marsala. While both dishes were very good, the marsala sauce could have used more flavor. The prices were slightly higher than average, but not unreasonable. I would have preferred if a house salad was included with the entrée instead of having to order everything a la carte. Additionally, the restaurant is BYOB. Overall, I would recommend this establishment.
