"Great vibe, bar with hightops to the left, dining room to the right. We were seated right after a BIG party so hurried a bit to get our order in before the kitchen got slammed. Cocktails check. Appetizer burrata on a very fresh heirloom yellow tomato wrapped in prosciutto with pesto phenomenal. A couple of bruschetta complimentary very good, nice touch. A long list of tantalizing specials. I was going for the Mediterranean sea bass but my partner ordered that so I defaulted to veal marsala. Big mistake. The sea bass was exquisite, the veal, meh. Bland, a bit overcooked. We are New Yorkers in Vermont for a few days heard the food was good from a local. They were wrong! The food was outstanding. Wonderful prix fixe menu on Wednesday Thursday with appetizer, entree and Dessert. The entree was so large we could only finish half. Service also outstanding, one of the owners came running after us to give us our forgotten entree. One of the owners sons, about 10 years old was helping out. He kept coming by asking if we needed anything at least 10 times. So sweet... we couldn't resist handing him a few dollars as we were leaving.
