"5 stars are not enough if possible I would give 10. The food was absolutely out of this world. I came in for the first time tonight with my in-laws, husband and our son. I am not a fan of German food, but my in laws and husband were enthralled with how amazing the food and presentation was. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, I’ve had lobster mac&cheese elsewhere but this lobster was cooked to perfection, it’s like it melted in my mouth. I made our reservation a week in advanced, and I the day before to confirm our reservation. When we arrived they told us that we didn’t have a reservation. I am a vegan and have never had a problem with any restaurant accommodating me. I was told at the Pine Grove Inn that they couldn’t accommodate me not even make me a salad. Need less to say we left and went somewhere else. This was our first and last visit there.

It was our first time trying this place and it was mediocre at best. It was too cold, in fact I ran into another patron who said she came prepared with long John’s on under her outfit because it is always super cold and the service is always slow. Our waitress was no where to be found when we wanted to leave. The food was not what I expected for the price. The decor is shabby and needs some updating. Not the romantic evening I was hoping for.

The food and chef should get 20 stars. The food was absolutely out of this world. Came in from NC, to visit my son, daughter in law and grandson and everything about this was amazing. Aside from my daughter in law we all love German food, and this was the absolute best German food we have ever had. Everything just melted in our mouths. The chef even spent time with us and asked us how to make a German dessert. We are definitely coming back December and can’t wait.
