"For years Re sette used to be my go to place before broadway shows, however I will not be returning ever again. Previously, I went for the romantic ambiance, delicious food, and great service. When I went this time I felt like I was sitting in time square the lights were so bright for an evening meal. They were playing pop music and the entire menu changed. Additionally we ordered two appetizers and only one of them came out. We only realized when we got our main courses. When we told the waiter he didnt say a word and just walked away. 3rd time at ReSette and it hasn’t lost its charm. I had the hanger steak and it was super delicious. My husband had the pasta Bologna’s and it was very good. Servers were very attentive.

It’s a very nice pizza plus place but not at all the way it’s described in the open table description. It was fine and if we weren’t heading to a broadway show on our 28th anniversary in a tuxedo jacket, it would have been acceptable. We thought we were in the wrong restaurant. It’s described as a feast with spectacular decor. We were looking for a high end romantic place. Not so much. I think it’s a nice neighborhood family place with good service and perfectly reasonable food.
