"The prices are reasonable and the potatoes are great at this restaurant, but there are not many options for vegans and vegetarians. I ordered the FTF with avocado instead of bacon. The park potatoes were delicious - similar to mashed potatoes with some texture, mixed with onions and spices (and a generous amount of butter). The French toast was decent, but not one of my top choices. It was a bit dry and lacked flavor, but it was still enjoyable. Some others in my group ordered the pancakes, which were large and thin, although I cannot speak to their taste. The eggs were typical. I would love to see a vegan/vegetarian biscuits and gravy option on the menu."

This breakfast spot is adorable and welcoming. We visited on a Sunday morning and had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before being seated. I appreciated that they provided a complimentary cup of coffee while we waited outside. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. The portions of food were quite generous, and their menu was a good size without being overwhelming.

Looked for a breakfast place to grab some food before we left town and headed back home. Saw the reviews and so we checked it out! It was pretty poppin in here for a Thursday morning!!! Fast and friendly service! My daughter for Gustavo?s burrito and Igot the Michigan hash as well as we got a side of French toast. I realized when the food came out we went overboard with theFrench toast! Lots of delicious food for a good price! This place did not disappoint at all.

This restaurant in the Salt Lake area is highly rated and for good reason. The breakfast with a view of the park is delightful. The Michigan hash was a generous portion that I struggled to finish. The combination of potatoes, green peppers, onions, and sausage provided great flavor, though I personally would have liked the potatoes cooked a bit longer. The omelette was also delicious, packed with cheesy goodness and plenty of ham. Overall, I would give the food a 3.9 out of 5. The excellent service and location elevate this place even further. Be sure to arrive early as this restaurant tends to get quite busy.

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
