"From the moment I walked into the restaurant we were greeted as though we were regulars. The bartender was most gracious in making a recommendation for a fun Friday night libation prior to dinner; it was a Lemon Drop and it was outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and quite accommodating when I requested an appetizer that was not on the menu. The Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer was delicious and quite a generous portion. The Lamb Shank was so tender that the meat fell off the bone. Did not indulge in the homemade desserts but I did enjoy a fabulous Irish Coffee. The Vineyard is a “do-over” on my list of fine dining establishments in the Fresno area."

We have been dining at the Vineyard since 1985. Chris and his family do a wonderful job and have one of the best chefs I 've ever had the pleasure of dining with. Hector is an imaginative artist with food. The Vineyards Slow Food events are not to be missed.

The bus boy was awesome. The waitress was fair. She forgot various things like the butter for the bread and the bruschetta. We had asked for a warm table and we got sat next to the window not very warm, but managable. Overall, it was a good sound dinner with good service. My hope was that it would be great because of the reviews that it had gotten prior. I did like the convenience of it being right off the freeway en route to Yosemite.
