"Authentic Filipino breakfast is served here. Chicago’s version of their “silog meal” si short for sinigang it means fried rice and log short for itlog means eggs. Yes we’ve been here a lot of times and we love it here! A playful mixture of taste tangy, garlicky , savory and a hint of sweetness. Oh by the way their serving is massive. It also come with free lugaw savory rice porridge and champorado sweet chocolate rice porridge The staff is quick and polite. Love the energy, small place but very homey Hope they serve tapa or tuyo soon."

Small hole in the wall type of restaurant with great breakfast. I had a Filipino breakfast something I've never had before and it was really good, not to mention the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Excellent Filipino breakfast. A friend and I visited this place for Sunday brunch and it was bustling. We both had the Tocino and longanisa with garlic rice. The dish also came with two eggs was delicious. Definitely a great place for some Filipino breakfast!!
