"Love thier chicken, but the wait without proper social distancing measures is a little concerning. Made myself wait outside, but then you still have to keep going back in to see if order was ready. Wish they would have a better distribution method."

Great value for the amount of food. I will say spice level varies each time, never the same lol. Having said that I dont mind the kick to it but thats my preference.

"came here for the first time with my wife. The reviews seemed pretty positive, except for one. I think Sharlene C. must be kind spirits. I felt the atmosphere was very lively. There was live Hawaiian music. People would get up dancing Hula with certain songs. It was very funny to watch and the decor made me feel like I was back home. For all this I say work done well! Well, for dinner.... The prices were not cheap, but it wasn't terrible either. For a starter we ordered the Back Home Sampler. That was pretty good for most. The spam musubi was good, the grilled beef sticks was tender and tasty. Lahaina fried chicken was very good. The won ton was good, the Filipino style lump was also good. The Kalua-Klumpia? No taste at all. Great time lack of salt and smoke flavor that is essential in Kalua pig. The sampler's presentation looked great, but it was up there. Luckily, the majority of what was on this record was good. Now to our ducks. My wife ordered the record #1. This consisted of Lahaina Fried Chicken, beef teriyaki, Kalua Pork, rice, Mac salad and cabbage almost like a raccoon. My wife said the chicken was good. The beef teriyaki was Blande, unless you have made sure that it was Teriyaki sauce on it and, as I said, the Kalua pig lacked in taste. At least the rice was cooked well, the salad was ok and the cabbage was very good. It had a sweetie for it. I ordered the Luau Platter. This consisted of Lau, Kalua pork, Lomi Lomi salmon, chicken rice, rice, Mac salad, cabbage and Haupia cheesecake. Here's my breakthrough. My first bite of Lau Lau, I thought it was great! It was a taste of only the green and it was good. As soon as I reached the pig in the middle, I noticed that there was no salt again. Hahaha comes to MAAAAN! The Kalua pigs? You guessed it, no. If you make Kalua pork when you do not do it, the ground breaking way I will do mine in a crockpot) They rub the pig with hawaiian salt, few tablespoons of liquid smoke and some water. It is absolutely necessary to have a taste of Hawaiian salt and smoke taste. It must also be juicy. I'm sorry, maybe I've been spoiled over the years. Now my lomi lomi salmon....gues what? No more salt. This is another dish where hawaiian salt is crucial. It was also dry. Usually it is very juicy because of the amount of water it sits in almost like a broth when you become). My Chicken Long Rice was missing too. It wasn't terrible, but maybe I'm getting used to my dad. The long rice here lacked ginger and the noodles were perhaps a little undercooked. The rice and Mac salad were okay. The cabbage I really enjoyed. Now the Haupia Cheescake....DELICIOUS! All in all, the atmosphere made me happy to be here, but the food needed a lot of help. Maybe they were just from some salt or something, or the menu was a low sodium night, I don't know. Hahaha. The Haupia cheesecake was worth it,"
